With less than two months left in the Passport to Design $20,000 Home Makeover Sweepstakes, we knew it was time to get the final call to enter out there to as many people as possible! Who better to do so than a group of design bloggers? Last week we were one of the five North Shore showrooms that hosted a fabulous bunch of bloggers for a day long tour of the Passport to Design locations. 

Our road trip began at Circle Furniture in Danvers, after an hour we headed to Tile by Design, then to our Designer Bath showroom in Beverly, next stop was Landry and Arcari in Salem, and we finished up at Lucia Lighting in Lynn. The bloggers got exclusive tours of each showroom and have shared their favorite items via twitter, Instagram and on their own design blogs. In Our Showroom: Barbara Barry

The Counterpoint Collection by Barbara Barry on display at Designer Bath

Many of the collections we offer at Designer Bath are created by world-class designers. Recently we added the Kallista brand to our showroom. Kallista is a fashion-forward company that focuses on distinctive elegance and classic luxury in the bath, powder room and kitchen.

Their impressive roster of designers includes award-winning designer Barbara Barry who is known for her sophisticated interpretation of modern glamour paired with timeless beauty and livability. 

Barry’s Counterpoint Vanity comes with a honed marble top designed to pair with an undercounter basin. The walnut base is available with a plain door or with starburst marquetry (currently on display in our Beverly showroom.) 

A medicine cabinet adorned with Barry’s signature starburst motif is also part of this 1930’s inspired collection. Rock crystal wall sconces (see showroom photo at top of post) add the finishing touch of designer sparkle.

Barry has designed four unique collections for Kallista. Each suite is superbly crafted with a distinct nod to glamour that will add charm and grace to any modern-day bath.

Opened in the 1980’s, our Beverly, Massachusetts showroom has always represented the best of the best. What began as Salem Plumbing Supply – which has served members of the plumbing and heating trades for over 65 years – later became the first plumbing showroom on the North Shore.
